AXIS TP3201 Recessed Mount
RecessedDrop ceilingM3215/M3216-LVEPlenum suitable
The AXIS TP3201 Recessed Mount (part number 01757-001) sets selected AXIS dome cameras into a drop ceiling, so only a flat ring and the dome are visible from the room. AXIS describes it as discreet video and audio surveillance for selected dome cameras and lists the M3215-LVE and M3216-LVE, with AXIS Device Microphone A or B as optional audio. The enclosure is metal alloy with ½″ (M20) and ¾″ (M25) conduit holes, and AXIS states it is suitable for plenum spaces. The outer ring is Ø246 mm. In practice it gives offices, shops and hotels a camera installation that blends into the ceiling.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Fits only the listed domes: AXIS M3215-LVE and M3216-LVE (older, discontinued models are also listed by AXIS). The camera, microphone and safety wire are not included; AXIS recommends its Safety Wire 3 m. AXIS does not publish weight, cut-out size or ceiling thickness range for this mount, so send us the ceiling details before ordering. Not sure? Tell us your model and we check it for you.

Singular Expert Insight
Recessed domes look tidy, but the cut-out has to be planned with the ceiling contractor. Order the safety wire with the mount. For the cameras, see our IP cameras.
