AXIS TQ1601-E Conduit Back Box — outdoor
IP66 / IP67IK10M25 entriesAluminium
The AXIS TQ1601-E Conduit Back Box (part number 02336-001) is an aluminium back box that increases the mounting options for AXIS box cameras and mounts outdoors. It has a corrosion-resistant powder coating, conduit entries on the top, bottom and sides, and long stainless screws with washers that help dissipate vibration. It is rated IP66/IP67, NEMA 4X and IK10, measures 130 × 158 × 50 mm, weighs 540 g and carries up to 8 kg. In practice it gives the camera a sealed space for the cable connection on exterior walls.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Conduit entries are M25 (3/4″) — 1/2″ conduit needs an adapter. AXIS lists box cameras such as the M1135-E Mk II, M1137-E Mk II, P1385-E, P1387-LE, P1388-LE, P1518-E/-LE and Q1656/Q1686 series, plus mounts such as T91E61 and TQ1003-E. A Torx 30 bit is required and not included. The camera is not included. Not sure? Tell us your model and we check it for you.

Singular Expert Insight
Outdoors the cable joint is the weak point. A sealed IK10 back box protects it from water and vandals and keeps it serviceable. For cameras, see our IP cameras.
