The AXIS TU1001-VE Microphone (part number 02269-001) adds audio to an AXIS camera or video encoder in exposed places. It is a robust aluminium microphone rated IP66 and IK10, with a hemispherical pickup pattern, a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, sensitivity of −32.1 dB and a signal-to-noise ratio of 71.4 dB(A). It connects with a 3.5 mm stereo plug and takes 2–10 V plug-in power from the host device, so it needs no power supply of its own. It mounts on a wall or ceiling, measures 51 × 119 × 75 mm and weighs 409 g. The finish is AXIS black (NCS S 9002-B).
Compatibility — check before buying:
Needs an AXIS device with audio input that supplies plug-in power. AXIS lists more than 60 compatible cameras and encoders; devices that only have a terminal block need the optional AXIS terminal block adapter.
