AXIS Cable Gland A — M25, 5-pack
M255 piecesPlasticT98A-VE cabinets
The AXIS Cable gland A M25 (part number 5503-831) is a pack of five plastic threaded cable glands for M25 holes. AXIS recommends them with its T98A-VE Surveillance Cabinet series and also lists the TQ18 housings. A gland seals the cable where it enters the enclosure and holds it in place, so water and dust stay out and the cable cannot be pulled out of its connection. In practice they are the spares you need when you add or change cables in an AXIS outdoor cabinet.
Compatibility — check before buying:
M25 holes only — for M20 holes AXIS sells Cable gland A M20 (5 pcs). AXIS does not publish the cable-diameter range, so tell us the outer diameter of your cable and we confirm the fit. Not for hazardous (Ex) areas; AXIS has separate Ex-rated glands. Not sure? Tell us your model and we check it for you.

Singular Expert Insight
An open cable entry is the most common reason for moisture in an outdoor cabinet. Seal every entry with a gland of the right size and blank off unused holes. For cameras and PoE, see our IP cameras and PoE switches.
