The AXIS 5505-261 is a pack of ten spare Connector A 2-pin 2.5 Straight terminal blocks: male two-pole plugs with a 2.50 mm pitch for the matching 2-pin headers on Axis cameras, radars and encoders. They are the small screw-terminal plugs that connect wires to the device, and they are easy to lose or damage during installation or when a camera is moved. Axis lists them for a long range of devices, from the P1385 and P1387 box cameras to the Q1656 and Q1686 series, F9114 modular cameras, thermal cameras and M7104/M7116 encoders. In practice installers keep a pack in the van so a missing plug never stops a job.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Pitch and pin count must match. This is the 2-pin, 2.5 mm connector. Other Axis devices use the AXIS Connector A 2-pin 5.08 Straight, which looks similar but is larger, and there are 4-pin and 6-pin 2.5 mm versions for other headers. Check the header on your device or send us the model and we confirm the right connector.
