The AXIS F2135-RE Fisheye Sensor (02641-001) is a discreet 1080p sensor for the AXIS F-series modular system that sees 185° horizontally through a 1.98 mm fisheye lens. The 46 mm long, 50 g black aluminium sensor fits vehicles, kiosks, lifts and machines, while processing and networking stay in a separate AXIS F91xx main unit. It records 1080p at up to 60 fps (720p up to 180 fps) and is rated IP66, IP67, IP6K9K and NEMA 4X. Separating the sensor from the main unit lets you place a tiny lens in the middle of a ceiling or roof while the electronics sit in a cabinet up to 30 m away.

Compatibility — check before buying:
In the box: F2135-RE sensor unit, installation guide. Not in the box: AXIS F-series main unit, SMA-FAKRA sensor cable (up to 30 m), PoE switch, memory card. Not a standalone camera: it needs an AXIS F9104-B Mk II, F9111-R Mk II, F9114-B Mk II or F9114-R Mk II (older F9111, F9114, F9114-B and F9104-B are also listed) to work. Cable sold separately: no sensor cable is in the box; Axis supports SMA-FAKRA cables up to 30 m. Not for old main units: it does not work with the first-generation AXIS F34, F41 or F44 main units. Tell us which Axis main unit you have, or plan to buy, and we confirm the sensor and cable combination.

An AXIS F-series main unit (F9104-B Mk II, F9111-R Mk II, F9114-B Mk II or F9114-R Mk II) and an SMA-FAKRA sensor cable of up to 30 m. The main unit connects to your network and PoE switch.
Why 185°?
A fisheye lens sees wall to wall from one point, ideal in the centre of a vehicle roof or small room. The image is circular; the main unit and VMS can present it as-is or de-warped depending on setup.
Can it be hosed down?
Yes. Axis rates it IP6K9K for high-pressure, high-temperature washdown, plus IP66, IP67 and NEMA 4X.
Is there a multi-pack?
Axis sells an 8-pack of the same sensor as 02641-021. This listing is the single sensor, 02641-001.
Singular Expert Insight
