The AXIS F9114-B Main Unit (part number 01991-031) is a 4-channel modular barebone unit of the AXIS F-series. It is the “brain” of a split camera system: up to four small AXIS sensor units connect to it by cable, and the main unit handles encoding, storage and the network. AXIS aims it at emergency vehicles and buses, with ignition control, 2 audio inputs, 1 audio output, 4 configurable I/Os, RS232/RS485, GPS input and Modbus RTU. It runs on PoE (802.3at Class 4) or 10–48 V DC and records to a microSD card. The unit measures 43 × 123 × 160 mm and weighs 190 g. AXIS has replaced it with the F9114-B Mk II.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Sensor units are sold separately — AXIS lists the F21 series, F4105-LRE Dome and F7225-RE Pinhole. On its own the main unit records nothing. This is the first-generation F9114-B; the current model is the F9114-B Mk II (03001-001), and the unbranded F9114 Main Unit (01991-001) is a different product. AXIS keeps hardware support for the F9114-B to 2031. Tell us which sensors you plan to use and we confirm the combination.
