The AXIS IR Diverging Lens C 120° (part number 5505-711) is a clip-in lens for AXIS T90 series infrared illuminators. It spreads the infrared light into a wide 120° beam, so a wide-angle camera sees the whole scene lit at night instead of a bright spot in the middle. AXIS gives a beam distance of 45 m with this lens. Use it when the camera’s field of view is wider than the illuminator’s standard lens covers.
Compatibility — check before buying:
AXIS lists Lens C for the AXIS T90D30 IR-LED and T90D30 PoE IR-LED, and the AXIS T90B40 datasheet lists it as an optional accessory. It is a lens only — the illuminator is not included. A wider beam means shorter reach: at 120° you get about 45 m, so for long, narrow views keep the narrower lens. AXIS also makes diverging lenses B and D for other illuminators — they are not interchangeable. Tell us the exact model you have and we check compatibility before you order.
