AXIS TM3817 Tamper-resistant Cover — 4 pcs
4-packM42 domesAnti-tamperAllen key included
The AXIS TM3817 Tamper-resistant Cover (part number 02572-001) is a pack of four casings that replace the original white casing of selected AXIS M42 dome cameras. The new cover gives the camera extra protection against tampering and vandalism in indoor spaces where people can reach it, such as shops, schools, corridors and public counters. AXIS includes the TP1901 Allen key for fitting. In practice one pack upgrades four M42 domes to a harder-to-open finish.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Only for the AXIS M42 domes AXIS lists: M4215-V, M4215-LV, M4216-V, M4216-LV, M4218-V and M4218-LV. It does not fit other M-series domes; for those AXIS makes other covers (for example TM3812). The cameras are not included. AXIS gives a tightening torque of max. 0.3 N·m. Not sure? Tell us your model and we check it for you.

Singular Expert Insight
Cameras within arm’s reach get tampered with sooner or later. Swapping the cover is cheaper than replacing a camera. For other cameras, see our IP cameras.
