AXIS W701 Mk II Docking Station — 8-bay
8 baysCharge + offloadGigabitEU version
The AXIS W701 Mk II Docking Station 8-bay (part number 02970-002, EU version) charges up to eight AXIS body worn cameras and securely offloads their recordings over the network. You drop the cameras into the bays at the end of a shift; the dock charges them and sends the video to the AXIS body worn system. It has a shielded Gigabit RJ45 port (100 Mbit/s per camera), runs on 12 V DC at up to 120 W from the included power supply, and is a splash-proof black plastic unit weighing 860 g. In practice it is the end-of-shift station for security teams, retail staff or transport crews using AXIS W102 or W120 cameras.
Compatibility — check before buying:
It needs an AXIS W800 System Controller — the dock does not work on its own. AXIS lists the W102 and W120 body worn cameras (and the discontinued W100 and W101). This is the EU version with EU mains cable; the UK version is 02970-003. Cameras and the W800 controller are not included. Tell us how many cameras you run and we size the docks and controller.

Singular Expert Insight
One dock per shift group keeps charging and evidence upload in a single routine. Mount it where staff return at the end of a shift and connect it to the same network as the W800. For the network side, see our PoE switches.
