Singular Expert Insight
The Dark Power 14 1000W is a flagship choice for a silent, ultra-efficient build: 80 PLUS Titanium (up to 95.6%), a Silent Wings fan with a true fan-off mode, a native 12V-2x6 cable and a multi/single-rail switch for overclockers — features you simply do not get on mainstream units. It is best suited to enthusiasts who value silence and efficiency and are happy to pay for it; for a more typical build, a Gold-rated 1000 W unit costs much less. Compare options across our PC power supplies, or pair it with a new graphics card for a complete high-end build.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want a flagship silent 1000 W unit with 80+ Titanium efficiency, a native 12V-2x6 cable, a fan-off mode and a multi/single-rail switch for overclocking.
Skip it if
You are on a budget — a Gold-rated 1000 W unit costs much less, or you run a flagship 500 W-plus GPU that benefits from a higher-wattage supply.
Also consider
The 850 W Dark Power 14 for a slightly lower-power silent build, or an 80+ Gold 1000 W unit if budget matters more than maximum efficiency.
