The Belkin F1DN008KBDDE is the German-layout version of Belkin’s KVM Remote Control with Integrated Keyboard: a backlit USB keyboard that also selects channels on Belkin Universal 2nd Gen Secure KVM switches with 2, 4 or 8 ports. It is designed for secure environments where the KVM is mounted out of sight and operators need to see at a glance which colour-coded security enclave they are working in.

Compatibility note: Works only as a remote with Belkin Universal 2nd Gen Secure KVM models (2, 4 and 8-port); older Belkin Secure KVM generations and third-party KVMs are not listed. It is designed as the console keyboard of a Belkin Universal 2nd Gen Secure KVM, where it provides both typing and KVM channel control. Belkin documents it for use with those KVMs and its console extenders rather than as a standalone PC keyboard.
How are the enclave colours set?
The lighting is white by default. Belkin includes enclave colouring labels and lets you configure the colours of the KVM keys and keyboard lighting to match the colour scheme on the KVM front panel.
