The Belkin F1DN208KVM-UN-4 is a Universal 2nd Gen secure KVM switch that lets one operator control 8 dual-monitor computers from a single keyboard, mouse and pair of displays, with DP/HDMI combo video ports on both host and console sides and resolutions up to 3840x2160 at 60 Hz.
It is certified to NIAP Common Criteria Protection Profile for Peripheral Sharing Devices (PSD PP 4.0) and TAA compliant, making it a fit for government, defence, finance and healthcare desks that must keep networks of different classification isolated.
The 8-port model uses a formed sheet-steel chassis for desktop or 19" rack installation (rack-mount adapters included) with a built-in power supply.
Compatibility note: Each host channel needs two video cables (DP or HDMI) plus a USB-A to USB-B cable, and optionally 3.5 mm audio and a CAC USB lead — cables are not included. Belkin's dual-head combo kits (e.g. F1DN2CCBL-HH6T) cover HDMI hosts. The optional F1DN008KBD remote control keyboard is sold separately.
