Compatibility — check before buying:
This exact 8X221AA model is the stereo Blackwire 3325 with USB-C, a supplied USB-C-to-USB-A adapter and a 3.5 mm connection. For 3.5 mm use, the target device must provide a compatible headset audio port. It should not be confused with single-ear Blackwire 3315 variants.

✓ USB-C and USB-A computers
✓ Compatible mobile devices and tablets via 3.5 mm
Key Features
USB-C with USB-A adapter
Connect directly to a USB-C computer or use the supplied USB-C-to-USB-A adapter with systems that still use a traditional USB-A port. This makes the same headset practical across mixed office hardware.
3.5 mm device connectivity
The additional 3.5 mm plug supports compatible mobile devices and tablets, providing an analogue connection option alongside the headset's USB connectivity.
Stereo audio with 32 mm speakers
The binaural on-ear design uses 32 mm speakers with a published 20 Hz to 20 kHz bandwidth, making the headset suitable for both voice communication and general computer audio.
Noise-cancelling microphone
The flexible 135 mm microphone boom uses noise-cancelling technology to help reduce surrounding sound during calls and rotates through 280 degrees for positioning.

Singular Expert Insight
The main advantage of 8X221AA is connection flexibility. It is a proper stereo Blackwire 3325 with USB-C for modern laptops, an included USB-A adapter for older PCs and docking stations, plus a 3.5 mm option for compatible mobile devices and tablets. The two-ear design is better suited to users who want greater focus than a monaural headset, while the 32 mm speakers and 20 Hz to 20 kHz bandwidth also make it more useful for general audio between calls.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want a stereo business headset that works across USB-C and USB-A computers while also offering a 3.5 mm connection for compatible devices.
Skip it if
You need wireless mobility, active noise cancellation for listening or a single-ear design that keeps one ear completely open.
Check first
Confirm the port on your device. USB-C works directly, USB-A uses the supplied adapter, and 3.5 mm operation requires a compatible headset audio socket.
