There is no active noise cancellation here. HP publishes a noise-cancelling microphone — it keeps your office out of the call for the person listening — and describes the ear cushions as providing passive noise cancelling, which is foam and clamp force. SoundGuard DIGITAL only works with the Poly Lens desktop app installed; without it the acoustic-shock limiting is not in effect, and Poly Lens needs Windows 10 or newer.
