Poly Blackwire 5210 Mono Wired Headset, USB-C with USB-A Adapter and 3.5 mm Plug, Noise-Cancelling Mic, Black
Poly Blackwire 5210 — One Headset for the PC and the Phone
The Poly Blackwire 5210 is a single-ear wired headset with a USB-C plug, a tethered USB-A adapter and a separate 3.5 mm plug, so the same headset works on a PC, a Mac, a mobile phone or a tablet. Its noise-cancelling boom microphone and inline call controls make it a reliable everyday headset for office workers and contact-centre staff.
No battery and no pairing: plug it in and it works. The inline module gives answer/end, mute and volume, and the 3.5 mm connection lets you take the headset from the desk to a mobile call. This is the standard version of the Blackwire 5210.

What It Means in Practice
- USB-C or USB-A: the tethered adapter covers both new and older computers.
- Unplug the USB part and use the 3.5 mm plug for a smartphone or tablet call.
- One ear stays open so you hear colleagues and the office around you.
- The boom rotates 280° so it can be worn on the left or right ear.
- Inline answer/end, mute and volume keep you off the mouse during calls.
What Will Not Work
- No active noise cancellation: the noise cancelling is in the microphone, and the cushion gives only passive isolation.
- Not wireless: you stay within the 2.17 m cable of the desk.
- No QD or RJ connection for traditional desk phones.
- Inline call controls work over USB; on the 3.5 mm plug available functions depend on the phone.
