The Brennenstuhl Secure-Tec 19,500 A Automatic (1159490936) is an 8-way Schuko extension lead that combines surge protection with a master/follow function: when the device in the red master socket switches off, the five follow sockets are cut automatically, eliminating standby consumption of monitors, speakers, printers and other peripherals. Two permanent sockets stay powered for equipment such as a router.

The switching threshold of the master socket is adjustable between about 8 and 80 W, so it can be tuned to the real standby draw of your PC or TV. Surge protection is rated at 19,500 A, an illuminated two-pole switch disconnects the whole strip, and separate lamps show surge-protection status and whether the follow sockets are live. Total capacity is 16 A / 3500 W at 230 V on a 3 m H05VV-F 3G1.5 cable.
