Brennenstuhl Super-Solid 13,500 A — 8-Way Surge Protection Power Strip with Circuit Breaker
13,500 A surge protection16 A circuit breaker8x Schuko at 45°Wall-mountable
The Brennenstuhl Super-Solid 13,500 A (1153340318) is an 8-way Schuko power strip with integrated surge protection and a resettable 16 A automatic circuit breaker, built in a break-proof polycarbonate housing for busy workstations, workshops and equipment corners. It handles up to 16 A / 3500 W at 230 V across all eight sockets.
The sockets sit at 45° with spacing wide enough for angled plugs, so eight devices really can be connected at once. An illuminated two-pole switch powers everything on or off, a control lamp confirms that surge protection is active, and fixing eyes plus rubber feet let you either screw it to a wall or desk or let it sit firmly on the floor. The cable leaves the strip opposite the switch, keeping the switch easy to reach.
Before you order: Cyprus wall outlets are BS 1363 (Type G). This product has a Schuko (CEE 7/7) plug, so it needs a Schuko outlet or a properly rated Type G adapter; a fused 13 A adapter caps the total load at roughly 3,000 W.
What's in the Box
- 1x Brennenstuhl Super-Solid 13,500 A surge protection power strip, silver, with fixed 2.5 m cable and Schuko angle plug
- No screws or wall plugs are included for the fixing eyes
What It Means in Practice
- Eight sockets with a shared surge barrier cover a full workstation: PC, two monitors, docking station, printer, router, lamp and charger.
- If you overload the strip, the 16 A breaker trips instead of a building fuse; you press it to reset once the load is reduced.
- The polycarbonate body is made to survive being kicked under a desk or knocked off a workbench.
- Fixing eyes let you mount it vertically on a wall or under a desk top, so plugs stay off the floor.
- The 3500 W limit is for all eight sockets together.
What Will Not Work
- Plugging directly into a Cyprus Type G wall outlet — it needs a Schuko outlet or a rated adapter.
- Devices with UK Type G plugs without adapters.
- Protecting phone, DSL, antenna or LAN lines — mains protection only.
- Use outdoors or in damp rooms — IP20, indoor only.
- Keeping equipment running during a power cut — use a UPS for that.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
The Super-Solid is the strip to pick when the environment is rough: a resettable breaker, a tough polycarbonate shell and proper mounting points make it suit workshops and crowded desks better than a lightweight strip. Compare it with our other power strips and extension leads if you need USB ports or a master/follow function.
✓ Buy it if you need eight protected sockets in a tough, mountable strip with its own resettable breaker.
✕ Skip it if you need USB charging, data-line protection or battery backup.
→ Also consider the Brennenstuhl Secure-Tec 19,500 A range for higher surge rating, or an Eaton Protection Box for phone-line protection.
