Brother DK-22214 Continuous Paper Label Roll — White, 12 mm x 30.48 m
Genuine Brother DK12 mm x 30.48 mWhite paper · black printCut to any length
The Brother DK-22214 is a genuine continuous-length white paper label roll, 12 mm wide and 30.48 m long, for Brother QL label printers. The printer cuts each label to the length you need, which makes it a flexible roll for file spines, envelopes, folders, shelf edges and small item labels in offices, shops and warehouses.
The paper carries a strong permanent adhesive. Like all DK rolls it is printed by the QL's direct-thermal head, so no ink, toner or ribbon is needed — the roll is the only consumable.
Before you order: DK rolls only fit Brother QL label printers (Brother confirms this roll for QL-700, QL-800, QL-820NWB and QL-1100, among others). It does not fit P-touch printers that use TZe or M cassettes. On two-colour QL models (QL-800 series) this roll prints black only — red printing needs the DK-22251 roll.
What's in the Box
- 1 x Brother DK-22214 roll, 12 mm wide, 30.48 m long, with its DK roll holder
- Continuous white paper tape with permanent adhesive
What It Means in Practice
- Continuous tape means the label length is set in software or on the printer, from short tags to long strips.
- 12 mm is a narrow tape — suited to one or two lines of text, small barcodes or file spines, not shipping labels.
- Paper labels are for indoor use; they are not water-resistant like film or laminated tapes.
- Permanent adhesive: plan for the label to stay; it is not designed to peel off cleanly.
What Will Not Work
- P-touch printers (TZe or M tape) — DK rolls are for QL printers only.
- Red-and-black printing on QL-800/810W/820NWB — that needs DK-22251.
- Shipping or address labels at full size — use a wider die-cut DK label instead.
- Outdoor or wet environments — paper tape is not water-resistant.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
DK-22214 is the most flexible narrow roll for QL printers: one roll covers file spines, small item labels and shelf strips because you choose the length each time. If you print addresses or shipping labels, a wider die-cut DK label saves time. Explore our labels and label tapes range for other DK sizes.
✓ Buy it if you have a Brother QL label printer and need narrow labels in variable lengths.
✕ Skip it if you own a P-touch (TZe/M) printer, need red print, or your labels go outdoors.
→ Also consider DK-22251 (62 mm black/red) for two-colour printing on QL-800 series, or a wider continuous roll for larger labels.
Not sure which tape your printer takes? Send us the exact model of your label printer and we will confirm the right cassette or roll before you order.
