The Brother PT-P950NW (PTP950NWZG1) is a professional P-touch label printer for electricians, IT and data-centre teams, facilities and labs that print durable laminated labels, cable markers and heat-shrink tubes from a PC, network or mobile device.
It prints at 360 dpi on TZe laminated tapes from 3.5 to 36 mm, HSe heat-shrink tube and FLe die-cut labels, cuts each label automatically with full or half cut, and connects over USB, wired Ethernet and Wi-Fi (including Wi-Fi Direct). A USB host port and optional serial and Bluetooth extend integration.
Before you order: It prints on Brother TZe, HSe and FLe cassettes only — not on paper label rolls. One 36 mm black-on-white TZe tape (8 m) is included to get started.

- Durable labels: TZe laminated tapes resist water, abrasion, chemicals and UV — suited to cable, panel, asset and lab labels that must last.
- Cable marking: HSe heat-shrink tube and the Brother Cable Label Tool app make wire and cable identification quick for installers.
- Half cut: half cutting leaves the backing intact so a strip of labels stays together and peels easily; full cut separates each label.
- Network printing: Ethernet and Wi-Fi (infrastructure and Wi-Fi Direct) let several users print from P-touch Editor, iPrint&Label and the Cable Label Tool.
- Templates: up to 99 stored templates and built-in barcodes (Code 39, Code 128, EAN-13, GS1-128 and more) support standalone printing with a scanner or keyboard on the USB host port.
- Options: rechargeable Li-ion battery base for portable use, Bluetooth interface and touch panel display are available separately.

- Paper label rolls: it uses only Brother TZe, HSe and FLe cassettes, not generic paper labels.
- Tapes wider than 36 mm: maximum tape width is 36 mm.
- Battery power out of the box: the Li-ion battery base is an optional accessory.
- Bluetooth out of the box: Bluetooth is an optional interface.
