The Brother PT-E310BTVP is an industrial handheld P-touch label printer kit for electricians, data-cabling and maintenance technicians: it prints on TZe laminated tapes and HSe heat-shrink tubes up to 18 mm wide at 180 dpi, from its own keyboard or from a phone over Bluetooth.

Dedicated keys and templates cover cable wraps, flags, patch-panel and faceplate labels, and the rechargeable Li-ion battery charges over USB-C, so it works on site without a socket.

Before you order: Tapes are limited to 18 mm. For 24 mm tapes choose a PT-E560BT-class model. The AC adapter (PA-AD-004) is optional and not in the kit.

What It Means in Practice

  • TZe laminated tapes resist abrasion, water and chemicals; flexible-ID tapes wrap around cables; HSe heat-shrink tubes are slipped over wires before termination and shrunk with a heat gun.
  • Over Bluetooth 5.0 the free Brother Pro Label Tool app (iOS/Android) designs and sends labels; on Windows, P-touch Editor connects via USB-C.
  • The backlit 15-character × 2-line LCD and 99-file memory let you repeat jobs on site.

What Will Not Work

  • Tapes wider than 18 mm (24 mm TZe needs a larger model).
  • Paper DK labels or thermal labels — it uses Brother TZe, HGe and HSe cassettes only.
  • Mains power out of the box — the AC adapter is an optional extra; charge it via USB-C.
