The Brother RuggedJet RJ-4250WB is a 4-inch mobile direct thermal printer for labels and receipts at the point of work, such as deliveries, warehouse tasks or field service. It connects through Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 or USB and has NFC support. This RJ4250WBZ1 package requires the compatible battery and power supply to be ordered separately: it is not a ready-to-charge battery bundle.

Before you order:
Order a compatible battery (PABT006) and suitable charging/power accessories, and confirm the regional power plug. You also need suitable thermal media and an application/driver that supports the printer. NFC helps connection workflows but does not replace the printing application. Linerless media needs the optional linerless configuration.

What It Means in Practice

  • For example, pair the printer with a compatible handheld application, choose a delivery receipt or product-label format and send the job over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. The thermal head prints without ribbon; tear the output at the bar. The application supplies the data and controls any order/stock changes.
  • Wireless Direct allows a supported direct Wi-Fi connection where an infrastructure network is unavailable. IP54 and the rubber housing suit mobile work, but the printer is not intended for immersion.

What Will Not Work

  • The printer cannot be treated as a complete battery-and-charger bundle; those items are separate.
  • Thermal-transfer ribbon printing is not supported. Linerless printing is optional and is limited to 76 mm/s when configured.
