The Brother PRK-A2001 is the genuine roller kit for Brother's ADS-2400N, ADS-2800W, ADS-3000N and ADS-3600W desktop document scanners, containing a new pick-up roller and reverse roller rated by Brother for 200,000 sheets.
These two rollers do the work of pulling one sheet at a time from the feeder and holding back the rest. As the rubber wears, the scanner starts to misfeed, pull two sheets at once or skew pages. At 200,000 scans the scanner itself reminds you to replace them.
Before you order: PRK-A2001 fits the ADS-2400N, ADS-2800W, ADS-3000N and ADS-3600W only. The smaller ADS-2200 and ADS-2700W use the PRK-A3001 kit, which is a different part.

What It Means in Practice
- Brother rates both rollers at 200,000 sheets; the scanner shows "Replace Pick up roller" and "Replace Reverse Roller" when the counters reach that point.
- Replace both rollers together so both counters start from zero at the same time.
- On the ADS-2800W and ADS-3600W, reset the counters on the touchscreen: Settings > Machine Info > Usage Counter.
- On the ADS-2400N and ADS-3000N, which have no screen, reset the counters from ControlCenter > Device Settings > Remote Setup > Machine Info.
What Will Not Work
- It will not fit the ADS-2200, ADS-2700W or other ADS models that use the PRK-A3001.
- It does not contain a separation pad or brake roller — this scanner family uses a reverse roller instead.
- It will not fix streaks or lines in scanned images; those come from dirty scan glass, which needs cleaning.
- Resetting the counters without fitting new rollers does not stop misfeeds.

In busy offices a roller kit is the cheapest way to bring an ADS-2800W or ADS-3600W back to clean single-sheet feeding. If double-feeds continue after new rollers, check the paper (stuck-together or curled sheets) and clean the rollers with a lint-free cloth. Our printer accessories and service parts page also lists cleaning and service parts.
✓ Buy it if your ADS-2400N, ADS-2800W, ADS-3000N or ADS-3600W shows a roller replacement message or keeps misfeeding.
