Cablexpert CC-VGAX2-20CM VGA Splitter Cable — 1× Male to 2× Female

1 in · 2 out0.2 mPassive Y-cable

The Cablexpert CC-VGAX2-20CM is a 0.2 m passive VGA Y-splitter cable with one HD15 male plug and two HD15 female sockets, used to send one VGA source to two monitors or a monitor and a projector showing the same image. Part number CC-VGAX2-20CM needs no power supply and connects between the computer and two existing VGA cables.

Compatibility note: Passive splitter: both outputs show the same (mirrored) image and the signal is divided, not amplified, so the picture can dim or soften on long cable runs or high resolutions. For extended desktops or long runs, use a powered VGA splitter or a second video output.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use the CC-VGAX2-20CM to extend my desktop across two screens?
No. A passive VGA splitter duplicates one video signal, so both screens always show the same picture. To extend the desktop you need two separate video outputs on the computer or a USB display adapter.
Which cables do I need with the CC-VGAX2-20CM?
Two VGA monitor cables (male to male), one from each female socket to each display. The splitter's male plug goes directly into the computer's VGA port.
Singular Expert Insight
The simplest way to feed a presenter monitor and a projector from one laptop VGA port, or to add a repeater screen at a reception desk. Keep the two display cables short: a passive split halves the signal level, and it shows on long runs. New displays needed? Browse our PC monitors.
✓ Buy it if you need the same image on two VGA screens a short distance from the source.
✕ Skip it if you want an extended desktop or run more than a few metres to each display.
→ Also consider Equip 118817 (1.8 m VGA cables) for connecting each display to the splitter.
