Canon PFI-3700 R Red Ink Tank — 700 ml for imagePROGRAF PRO-2600, PRO-4600 and PRO-6600
Genuine Canon700 ml · RedLUCIA PRO II pigmentimagePROGRAF PRO-x600
The Canon PFI-3700 R (6449C001) is a genuine Canon red ink tank — 700 ml of LUCIA PRO II pigment ink — for the imagePROGRAF PRO-2600, PRO-4600 and PRO-6600. It is for photo, fine-art, proofing and poster studios running those printers.
Each colour is a separate tank, so you only replace the one that is empty. Canon does not publish a yield for large-format tanks; usage depends on print size, media and coverage.
Before you order: The imagePROGRAF GP-2600S, GP-4600S and GP-6600S also use PFI-3700 tanks but have no red ink — this tank will not fit them. The earlier PRO-2000 / PRO-4000 and PRO-2100 / PRO-4100 printers use PFI-1700 tanks instead.
What's in the Box
- 1 x Canon PFI-3700 R red ink tank (700 ml)
- Sealed Canon original packaging, part number 6449C001
- Printer, other colours and maintenance parts not included
What It Means in Practice
- Replace only the empty colour — the other tanks keep printing.
- 700 ml is the largest tank size for these printers, so fewer swaps on long runs.
- Pigment LUCIA PRO II ink is the ink set these printers are built around.
- Keep the tank sealed until you install it.
What Will Not Work
- imagePROGRAF GP-2600S, GP-4600S, GP-6600S — their 7-colour set has no red.
- PRO-2000, PRO-4000, PRO-2100, PRO-4100 and other PFI-1700 printers.
- Desktop photo printers and office inkjets.
- Other colours — this tank is red only.

Frequently Asked Questions
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
On 12-colour PRO printers red is a gamut ink, so how fast it empties depends on your work — product shots and fashion use it far more than landscapes. Check usage in the printer's status monitor before ordering spares. More genuine supplies are in original inks.
✓ Buy it if you run an imagePROGRAF PRO-2600, PRO-4600 or PRO-6600.
✕ Skip it if you have a GP-series or a PFI-1700 PRO printer.
→ Also consider smaller PFI-3100 / PFI-3300 tanks if your red usage is low.
Not sure it fits? Send us your printer model (it is on the label at the back or in the printer menu) and we will confirm the right ink tank before you order.
