The Good Connections GC-N0150 is a Cat.6A cable connector: a small shielded box that joins two network cables end to end. Each cable is terminated on its own LSA contacts inside the metal housing without a tool, so you can repair a cut installation cable or extend a run that came out too short — without adding a patch panel or wall outlet. The housing is zinc alloy with full STP shielding and adjustable strain relief on both sides; the contacts are phosphor bronze. The manufacturer rates it Cat.6A, 500 MHz, 10 Gigabit Ethernet and PoE, PoE+ and UPoE, for cable diameters of 6–9 mm.
Compatibility — check before buying:
It joins two cables — there is no RJ45 socket or plug. You cannot plug a device into it. If you want to put a plug on the end of a cable, you need a field-terminable RJ45 plug instead. Cable: outer diameter 6–9 mm. The datasheet lists solid conductors AWG 26–22; the manufacturer’s product page also lists stranded AWG 27/7–22/7. Operating range −25 to +68 °C, indoor use.
