The EFB-Elektronik EC020200299 is a 0.25 m Cat 8.1 S/FTP PiMF patch cable in black, built for ultra-short switch-to-patch-panel and server-to-switch jumps in data-centre racks running 25G/40GBASE-T. Part number EC020200299 uses a 4x2 AWG 26/7 stranded copper Cat 8.1 raw cable rated to 2000 MHz, a 6.2 mm LSZH jacket and 50 µ″ gold-plated RJ45 plugs with a locking-lever guard. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility note: Cat 8.1 uses standard RJ45 and is backward compatible with Cat 6A/6/5e ports, but a link only runs at the speed of its slowest component — a Cat 8.1 cord does not make a 1G or 10G port faster. 25G/40GBASE-T channels are limited to about 30 m with two connectors. EFB states PoE support but publishes no IEEE 802.3bt class.
