The Intellinet 790796 is a shielded Cat6a RJ45 plug you terminate by hand directly onto solid or stranded network cable, for installers who want a plug on the end of an installation run — PoE cameras, access points, wall-mounted displays — without a patch panel or crimp tool.
Intellinet quotes about two minutes per termination. The zinc die-cast body gives 360° shielding, the IDC contacts are colour-coded for T568A and T568B, and the plug is rated for 10 Gbps at 500 MHz.
Before you order: Round cable only. Conductors must be solid AWG 26/1–23/1 or stranded AWG 27/7–23/7; Intellinet does not publish an outer-diameter range, so send us your cable type if it is unusually thick.

A field plug at the camera end removes a coupler and a patch cord from the channel — fewer joints, fewer faults. It suits PoE IP cameras and access points where the cable comes straight out of the ceiling.
✓ Buy it if you terminate Cat6a installation cable directly at a PoE device and want a reusable, shielded plug.
✕ Skip it if your cable is flat, or outside the AWG ranges.
