The CHERRY KW 9200 MINI (JK-9250GB-2) is a compact 77-key wireless keyboard that talks to four devices at once: two Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy channels, one 2.4 GHz channel through the supplied nano receiver, and a wired channel over the removable USB-C cable — switch between them from the keyboard. It uses the CHERRY SX scissor mechanism for a precise, quiet keystroke, has an integrated metal plate for rigidity at 15.86 mm high, and charges over the same USB-C cable it uses for wired mode. Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz traffic is encrypted with AES-128, and status LEDs sit in the Caps Lock, Num and Fn keys. It won a German Design Award in 2024. This part number is the UK English layout in black. In the box: keyboard, dongle, USB-A to USB-C cable, manual and a carrying pouch made of recycled plastic.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is a compact 75% layout: 77 keys plus one, so there is no separate numeric keypad — numbers come from the top row, and some keys move to an Fn layer. The nano receiver needs a USB-A port; CHERRY lists Bluetooth 4.0 or higher on the host (the keyboard’s own radio is Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy). CHERRY lists Windows as the supported system and CHERRY KEYS is Windows only; the keyboard follows standard HID and types on macOS, iPadOS, Linux and Android over Bluetooth. Keys are not backlit. The USB-C cable is removable and does double duty for wired typing and charging.
