Frequently Asked Questions

Does the MW 3000 have Bluetooth?
No. It uses the 2.4 GHz nano receiver only. The CHERRY GENTIX BT is the Bluetooth alternative.
Is it suitable for left-handed users?
No. The thumb buttons sit on the left for a right-handed grip; the CHERRY MW 2200 is the symmetrical option.
Does it work on a Mac?
CHERRY lists Windows. The receiver is plug-and-play and works for basic use on macOS, but CHERRY KEYS is Windows-only. Tell us your model and we will confirm.
Singular Expert Insight
The MW 3000 is the right-handed step up from the CHERRY MW 2200 in our wireless mice: thumb buttons, side grips and 1750 DPI at a small premium, with CHERRY’s three-year cover. It has no Bluetooth or silent clicks; the Trust Nito Silent is the quiet rival at the same price. A docking stations supplies the USB-A port on a USB-C laptop.

Buyer’s Guide

Buy it if

You want an inexpensive right-handed dongle mouse with thumb buttons, side grips and a 3-year CHERRY term.

Skip it if

You need Bluetooth, silent clicks, a left-handed shape or a published battery life.
