Chillax CB260 Audio Baby Monitor · DECT · LCD with Temperature Alert · Up to 340 m · Talk-Back & Lullabies · White

The Chillax CB260 is a DECT digital audio baby monitor from Chillax (Atlinks Europe) whose parent unit adds a backlit LCD showing the nursery temperature, with an alarm when the room gets too cold or too warm — for parents who want sound monitoring plus a simple way to keep the room comfortable, without a camera or app.

The baby unit sits next to the cot on mains power and handles the night light, five lullabies and the temperature sensor; the parent unit runs on two rechargeable AAA batteries for up to 13 hours and clips to your belt. VOX sensitivity, talk-back, ECO and Smart ECO modes, and out-of-range and low-battery warnings complete a package that covers everything most families actually use.

Like the rest of the Chillax audio range, the CB260 works as a closed radio link between the two units: nothing to configure on your router, no account and no data leaving the house.

• 1 × parent unit with integrated belt clip
• 1 × baby unit
• 2 × power adapters (6 V DC, 450 mA)
• 2 × AAA Ni-MH rechargeable batteries (1.2 V, 500 mAh) for the parent unit
• User guide

• First use: charge the parent unit for 16 hours before the first use; after that a full recharge takes about 11 hours.
• Temperature alarm: the default window is 14 °C to 29 °C and you can set your own limits between 11 °C and 35 °C, shown in °C or °F.
• Range: 340 m is the open-field figure; indoors Chillax rates up to 50 m, and concrete floors or thick walls reduce it further. Test the link from the rooms you use most.
• VOX with 5 sensitivity levels lets you decide how loud a sound must be before the parent speaker switches on — useful for a baby who babbles in their sleep.
• Night light has three settings (on, dimmed to 80 % and off), so you can check on your baby without switching on the room light.

• No video, no app and no remote listening over the internet — this is a local link between the two units only.
• The baby unit has no battery and must stay plugged in near the cot.
• The temperature sensor is in the baby unit; it reports the nursery temperature, not the temperature of your baby.
• It is not designed to pair with DECT cordless phones, other brands of baby monitor or US DECT 6.0 Chillax models.
