Cisco Room Bar — all-in-one huddle room video bar with Room Navigator touch controller (Carbon)
Webex & Teams Rooms12 MP · 120° cameraDual-screen outputRoom Navigator included
The Cisco Room Bar (CS-BAR-T-C-K9) is an all-in-one video conferencing bar in Carbon colour with a 12 MP 120° camera, a 4-element beamforming microphone array and stereo speakers, supplied with a table-stand Cisco Room Navigator touch controller, built for huddle spaces and small meeting rooms with up to five people seated within 3 metres.
Everything a small room needs to join a call sits in one bar under the screen: camera, microphones, speakers and the compute that runs Cisco RoomOS. The same hardware can instead run Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android, so the room follows whichever platform your company uses. A USB-C cable also turns it into a room camera and speakerphone for a visitor's laptop.
Before you order: This is a room system, not a USB webcam. It needs a display (one or two screens via HDMI), a wired network connection and a Cisco device registration (Webex Control Hub or on-premises CUCM/Expressway) or a Microsoft Teams Rooms licence. Licences and the display are not included.
What's in the Box
- Cisco Room Bar video bar (Carbon)
- Cisco Room Navigator touch controller with table stand
- Power supply 12 V DC, 86 W, with power cord
- HDMI 2.0 cable, 1.5 m
- 8 m flat Ethernet cable for the Room Navigator
- Camera privacy cover
- Mounting kit
What It Means in Practice
- One cable to the network, one or two HDMI cables to the screens and the room is ready: the Room Navigator plugs straight into the bar's PoE port, so no separate switch port is needed for the controller.
- Auto framing and speaker tracking keep everyone in view in a small room; the camera reframes as people sit down or start talking.
- Guests can plug a laptop into USB-C and use the bar's camera, microphones and speakers in their own Zoom, Teams or Meet call (BYOD mode).
- Wireless sharing works from the Webex app, Miracast and AirPlay in RoomOS, and Teams Cast in Teams Rooms mode.
What Will Not Work
- It will not work as a plain USB webcam on a desk PC — it is a room device that needs its own registration or the BYOD USB-C mode.
- It does not run Zoom Rooms natively; Zoom meetings are joined through SIP (RoomOS) or Zoom CRC/WebRTC in Teams Rooms mode.
- Windows-based Teams Rooms is not supported — Teams runs only as Teams Rooms on Android.
- More than two screens, or rooms with people further than about 3 m from the bar, need the larger Room Bar Pro or an external microphone.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a Cisco licence to use it?
For native Webex the device is registered in Webex Control Hub and uses a Cisco device subscription; in Teams Rooms mode you need a Microsoft Teams Rooms licence. BYOD USB-C mode needs no licence.
Can a visitor use it with their own laptop?
Yes. One USB-C cable gives the laptop the bar's camera, microphones and speakers, plus content sharing to the room screen.
Is the Room Navigator powered separately?
No. It connects to the bar's PoE port with the included 8 m cable and takes its power from the bar.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
The Room Bar is the simplest way to put a proper Cisco room system into a huddle space: one bar, one controller, one or two screens. It is sized for up to five people close to the screen — for bigger rooms the Room Bar Pro adds a dual-lens camera, a 16-mic array and three screens. Pair it with one of our
commercial displays and a wired network point and the room is complete.
✓ Buy it if you run Webex or Teams Rooms and want a single-bar setup with a touch controller for a small room.
✕ Skip it if your room seats more than five or people sit further than 3 m from the screen, or you need native Zoom Rooms.
→ Also consider Cisco Room Bar Pro for medium rooms; Poly Studio X32 or X52 if your company standardises on Zoom.
Not sure which bar fits your room? Send us the room size, the number of seats and the platform you use (Webex, Teams, Zoom) and we will check it before you order.
