The Cisco Desk Phone 9841 is a four-line desk phone from Cisco’s 9800 Series that runs one firmware across Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Webex Calling, BroadWorks and other third-party cloud calling platforms. It has a 3.5-inch backlit greyscale display, an internal Gigabit switch, PoE Class 2, a USB-A port for headsets or a key expansion module, and a TPM 2.0 chip for hardware-based security. This code is the Carbon Black version.

Compatibility — check before buying:
The 9841 has no Bluetooth and no Wi-Fi — wireless headsets must use a USB-A dongle or the RJ-9 headset port. Cisco lists the power supply as a separate accessory: use a PoE switch or order the Cisco Power Adapter 3 for your region. The First Light (light) colour is a different code, DP-9841-L-K9=. Tell us the phone system or provider you use and we check compatibility before you buy.

Yes. Cisco publishes one device and one firmware for CUCM, Webex Calling, BroadWorks and third-party cloud calling.
Does it have Bluetooth?
No. Use a USB headset (or USB dongle) in the USB-A port, or a wired headset on the RJ-9 port. The 9851 and 9861 add Bluetooth.
Is a power adapter included?
No. Power it from a PoE switch or order the Cisco Power Adapter 3 separately.
Can I add more keys?
Yes, one DP-9800-KEM= key expansion module connects through USB-A.
