Cisco Headset 522 — Wired Dual Headset with USB-A Controller
Stereo3.5 mm + USB-ACisco IP phones · Webex2-year Cisco warranty
The Cisco Headset 522 (CP-HS-W-522-USB) is a wired dual-ear (stereo) headset from the Cisco Headset 500 Series that ends in a 3.5 mm plug and comes with an inline USB-A controller — for Cisco IP phone, Webex and Jabber users who want one headset for the desk phone, laptop and mobile.
The USB-A controller adds answer, end, reject, hold/resume, mute and volume buttons plus an in-call LED on the ear plate. Speaker bandwidth is 50 Hz to 18 kHz with acoustic spike protection above 118 dB, and the unidirectional microphone covers 150-6800 Hz. Weight is 104.0 g to the 3.5 mm connector.
Before you order: USB connection is supported on Cisco 6871, 8851/8861/8865, 8875, 9841/9851/9861/9871 (with the firmware versions Cisco lists). Cisco IP Phone 7800 Series is NOT compatible. On 6825 DECT and 8821 it works over 3.5 mm only, without call control. This is the USB-A version; the USB-C version is a different part.
