The Cisco IP Phone 8811 is the entry model of the Cisco 8800 Series: a five-line business desk phone with a 5-inch 800 x 480 backlit greyscale widescreen, dedicated hold, transfer, conference and directory keys, a wideband handset and speakerphone, and a two-port Gigabit switch. It is built for Cisco on-premises call control and is powered by PoE Class 2 or an optional Cisco power cube.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is the Enterprise version (no “3PCC” in the code): out of the box it registers to Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Business Edition or HCS and needs a Cisco user licence there. It does not work with a generic SIP provider until it is converted to Multiplatform firmware — free when moving to Webex Calling through Control Hub, otherwise with a paid Cisco conversion licence. The 8811 has a greyscale screen and no Bluetooth, USB or key expansion module — for a Bluetooth headset or a sidecar choose the 8851. Cisco sells the power supply separately (Power Cube 4 with the CE power cord). Tell us the phone system or provider you use and we check compatibility before you buy.
