The Cisco NXA-PAC-650W-PI= is a 650 W AC hot-swappable power supply with port-side intake airflow for Cisco Nexus 9300 and Nexus 3000 data-centre switches, supplied as a spare (=) part for replacement or for adding 1+1 redundancy.
It delivers 12 VDC main and 12 VDC standby power at 80 PLUS Platinum efficiency, accepts 100–240 VAC (50–60 Hz) and is colour-coded burgundy so the airflow direction is visible at a glance. With this direction the switch ports face the cold aisle (air enters on the port side).
Before you order: All power supplies and fan modules in a Nexus switch must use the SAME airflow direction. If your switch has blue (port-side exhaust) fans or PSUs, you need the NXA-PAC-650W-PE= (port-side exhaust, blue) instead — mixing directions can overheat and shut down the switch. Do not mix AC and DC PSUs.

- Switches whose fans use the opposite airflow direction — order NXA-PAC-650W-PE= (port-side exhaust, blue).
- Nexus 93180YC-EX fully populated with 5 W+ optics on all 36 ports — Cisco requires the 1100 W PSU there.
- Nexus models not on the compatibility list, Catalyst switches, servers or PCs.
