Cisco Catalyst 9800-L Rack Mount Tray

The Cisco C9800L-RMNT= is the optional rack mount tray for the Catalyst 9800-L Wireless Controller, which Cisco builds as a half-width desktop unit. The tray takes the controller into a 19″ rack and uses two rack units. Four tabs latch into the bottom of the controller and a nylon latch in the centre locks it in place; the external power adapters sit at the rear of the tray, held with the supplied velcro straps, and cable-management clips route the AC wiring. It is fixed to the rack with the supplied screws and brackets. In practice it turns the 9800-L into a tidy rack-mounted appliance next to your switches.
Compatibility — check before buying:
For the Catalyst 9800-L only (copper C9800-L-C and fibre C9800-L-F). The 9800-40 and 9800-80 are rack-mount chassis and do not use it. The tray works in 2-post racks; for a 4-post rack Cisco recommends the optional rear bracket kit C4948E-BKT-KIT=, sold separately. Remove the four rubber feet from the controller before mounting.
