Club 3D CSV-1586 Thunderbolt 3 to Dual DisplayPort Adapter
Two 4K monitors from one Thunderbolt port — native video, no DisplayLink driver.
2x 4K 60HzSingle 8K 60Hz / 4K 144Hz (DSC)Thunderbolt 3 40Gbps inputBus powered, no driver
The Club 3D CSV-1586 is a Thunderbolt 3 to dual DisplayPort adapter that drives two 4K monitors at 60Hz, or a single display up to 8K 60Hz or 4K 120/144Hz using DSC, from one Thunderbolt 3, 4 or 5 port on a Windows PC or Mac. Because it uses native Thunderbolt video rather than DisplayLink compression, there is no driver to install and full-motion video and games stay smooth.
The grey brushed-aluminium housing (10.8 x 6 x 1.5 cm, 125 g) has a 23.5 cm integrated Thunderbolt cable and takes its power from the host port, so it is a tidy way to add a second 4K monitor to a laptop workstation.
Compatibility Note: Requires a Thunderbolt 3, 4 or 5 port on the computer — it is not specified for plain USB-C DP Alt Mode ports. On Mac, dual external displays only work on models whose chip supports two or more external displays (for example Pro/Max chips; base M1/M2 MacBooks show only one screen). Dual 4K 60Hz and 8K modes rely on DSC-capable monitors and graphics.
Key Features
Two 4K 60Hz monitors
Extended desktop on two DisplayPort monitors at 3840 x 2160 60Hz each, or 8K 30Hz + 4K 30Hz, from a single Thunderbolt connection.
High-refresh single display
On one monitor it reaches 8K 60Hz, 4K 120Hz or 4K 144Hz with DSC, suited to creative work and fast-moving content.
Native video, no driver
Uses the GPU directly over Thunderbolt, so there is no DisplayLink software, compression or CPU load; bus powered from the host.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Club 3D CSV-1586 give two screens on a MacBook Air M1 or M2?
No. Base M1 and M2 Macs support only one external display natively, so the second output stays blank. For two screens on those Macs use a DisplayLink adapter such as the i-tec CADUAL4KDP.
Will it work on a USB-C laptop without Thunderbolt?
Club 3D specifies a Thunderbolt 3/4/5 host. Laptops with USB-C DP Alt Mode only are not listed as supported; use a USB-C MST or DisplayLink adapter instead.
Can I play games or watch protected video through it?
Yes. Because the video is native DisplayPort from the GPU (not DisplayLink compression), games, video playback and high refresh rates behave as on a direct monitor connection.
Singular Expert Insight
We recommend the CSV-1586 for Thunderbolt laptops and Pro/Max Macs that need two 4K monitors with native performance — no driver, no compression. If your Mac is a base M1/M2/M3 model or your PC lacks Thunderbolt, a DisplayLink adapter such as the Club 3D CSV-1475 or i-tec CADUAL4KDP works around those limits, at the cost of driver-based video.
✓ Buy it if you have a Thunderbolt 3/4/5 laptop and want two 4K 60Hz DisplayPort monitors with native GPU performance.
✕ Skip it if your computer has only USB-C (no Thunderbolt) or is a base M1/M2 Mac needing two screens.
→ Also consider i-tec CADUAL4KDP (DisplayLink dual DP, works on any USB port) or Club 3D CSV-1475 (DisplayLink dual HDMI).
