The Club 3D CSV-1430A adds a wired Gigabit network port and three USB-A ports at up to 5 Gbps to any computer with a spare USB-A socket. The Ethernet side supports Wake-on-LAN, Energy Efficient Ethernet (802.3az), Green Ethernet and IPv4/IPv6 checksum offload, so it behaves properly on a managed network rather than just passing packets. It is bus-powered with an 18 cm cable, weighs 45 g and measures 78.8 × 25.6 × 19 mm in black. Part number CSV-1430A is the successor to the CSV-1430, with a cable three times longer.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The most important number: Club 3D specifies 900 mA shared across all three USB-A ports together, not per port — fine for keyboards, mice, dongles and flash drives, and not enough for a bus-powered hard drive. There is no DC socket, so power cannot be added. Host connector is USB-A; a USB-C-only laptop needs an adapter, not included. No Power Delivery, no video, no card reader.
