The Club 3D CAC-1587 is a 3 m active cable that converts a DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode USB-C port into HDMI 2.1, for laptops, tablets and mini PCs connecting to a TV, projector or high-refresh monitor. Part number CAC-1587 supports up to 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 120 Hz using DSC 1.2a, Dynamic HDR10+ and 5.1/7.1 audio, and is powered from the USB-C port, so no adapter or extra cable is needed.
Compatibility Note: The USB-C port must support DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode; data-only or charge-only USB-C ports give no picture. 8K60 and 4K120 need DSC on the source and an HDMI 2.1 display. The cable is one-way (USB-C to HDMI) and has no charging input.
