Club 3D CSV-1547 — USB-C to Four USB-A Ports at 10 Gbps
4 × USB-A, 10 GbpsBus-powered, no adapterAluminium, 63 gUp to 900 mA per port
The Club 3D CSV-1547 is the simplest fix for a USB-C laptop and a drawer of USB-A accessories: a USB-C plug on a 16.7 cm captive cable, four USB-A ports on the other end, each at USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) and backwards-compatible with USB 3.0 and 2.0. It is bus-powered from the laptop — no adapter, no PD input — and supplies up to 900 mA to a single device. Part number CSV-1547 weighs 63 g in a grey aluminium casing and carries Club 3D’s 24-month limited warranty.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Host must be USB-C; the cable is captive. No Power Delivery: the laptop is not charged through this hub and its USB-C port is occupied. No video. Bus-powered means power-hungry devices (2.5-inch hard drives, several at once) depend on what the laptop can supply; Club 3D quotes 900 mA for a single device.
Best For
✓ USB-C laptops with USB-A sticks, mice and dongles
✓ Meeting rooms where visitors bring USB-A drives
✓ Fast USB-A SSDs at full 10 Gbps
✓ Travel kits
✓ Desks that already have a separate laptop charger
✓ Users who want metal, not plastic
Key Features
Four USB-A ports at Gen 2 speed
All four ports run at 10 Gbps — twice the usual 5 Gbps of budget hubs — so a modern USB-A SSD is not held back. Data and charging work simultaneously.
Nothing to plug in but the laptop
Powered entirely through the USB-C host connection; up to 900 mA per port for a single device, with the total depending on the host.
Compact aluminium
95 × 45 × 11.5 mm, 63 g, sturdy aluminium casing, 16.7 cm cable (about 26 cm overall). RoHS, FCC, CE.

Singular Expert Insight
The CSV-1547 is what we hand to someone with a new USB-C laptop and an old USB-A world — no charger juggling, no drivers, and faster than the typical 5 Gbps travel hub. If the laptop has only one USB-C port, the CSV-1543 is the wiser buy because it lets the charger through. For a monitor or Ethernet see our docking stations; the rest of our USB hubs covers powered desk hubs. Not sure it fits your setup? Tell us your laptop or PC model and what you want to plug in and we will check it before you order.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You need four USB-A ports at 10 Gbps from a USB-C laptop that has another port free for its charger, in a light aluminium hub.
Skip it if
Your laptop has a single USB-C port and you need it charged, you have USB-C peripherals, or you need a powered hub for several hard drives.
