Club 3D USB-C 5Gbps to 3-Port USB-A Hub with Gigabit Ethernet
3 x USB-A 5 GbpsGigabit EthernetUSB-CBus powered
The Club 3D CSV-1549 is a USB-C 5 Gbps hub with three USB-A ports and a Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 port, giving a USB-C laptop a wired network connection and room for a mouse, keyboard, flash drive or other USB-A accessories from a single port. It suits ultrabook and MacBook users whose laptops have only one or two USB-C ports.
The hub uses a USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbps) link, with the Genesys GL3510 hub controller and Realtek RTL8153E Ethernet controller. It is bus powered, has an 18 cm cable and a compact black body measuring 78.8 x 25.6 x 19 mm.
Before you order: The three USB-A ports share a 900 mA power budget (12 W max combined bus power). High-draw devices such as bus-powered external hard drives may need their own power supply. There is no charging input.
What's in the Box
- 1 x Club 3D CSV-1549 USB-C to 3-port USB-A hub with Gigabit Ethernet
What It Means in Practice
- One USB-C port gives you wired Gigabit LAN plus three USB-A ports for existing accessories
- Ideal for hot-desking: plug in once for network, keyboard, mouse and a USB stick
- The 5 Gbps upstream link is shared between the USB ports and the network port, so heavy USB copies and heavy network traffic at the same time share bandwidth
- Bus powered: no power adapter to carry
What Will Not Work
- It cannot charge the laptop — there is no USB-C Power Delivery input
- It has no HDMI or DisplayPort video output
- It will not run power-hungry USB devices beyond the shared 900 mA budget
- It will not exceed 1 Gbps on the network port

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I charge my laptop through the hub?
No. It has no Power Delivery input, so use another USB-C port or the laptop's own charger for power.
Can I connect an external hard drive?
Yes, if the drive has its own power supply or draws little power. Bus-powered drives together with other devices may exceed the shared 900 mA budget.
Does it add a monitor output?
No. For video output choose a USB-C hub or dock with HDMI or DisplayPort.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
The CSV-1549 is a compact travel and hot-desk hub that covers the two things most USB-C laptops miss: USB-A ports and a wired network. If you also need charging pass-through or an external monitor, a USB-C
docking station is the better fit.
✓ Buy it if you need wired Gigabit and three USB-A ports from one USB-C port.
✕ Skip it if you need laptop charging through the hub or a video output.
→ Also consider a USB-C docking station with PD and HDMI, or a single-purpose USB-C Gigabit adapter.
