Club 3D CSV-1009 DisplayPort 2-in-1 Bi-Directional Switch 8K

DP 1.4 · up to 8K602→1 or 1→2 bidirectionalHDR · DSC · HDCP

The Club 3D CSV-1009 is a bidirectional DisplayPort 1.4 switch that either connects two DP sources to one monitor or one source to two monitors (one at a time), with one-button switching up to 7680 × 4320 at 60 Hz. Part number CSV-1009 passes HDR, DSC and HDCP, and blue LEDs show which port is active.

The 5.5 × 5.5 cm unit has a 0.5 m attached DisplayPort cable and needs no drivers; it normally draws power from the DP connector, with a USB-C input for external power if a device does not supply enough.

Compatibility note: This is a video-only switch, not a KVM – keyboard and mouse do not follow. In 1→2 mode only one monitor is active at a time (no splitting or extending). 8K60 needs DSC on source and display; long or thin DP cables increase the risk of an unstable signal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the Club 3D CSV-1009 show the same image on two monitors?
No. In the one-source, two-display direction it switches the signal to one monitor or the other; it does not duplicate or extend. For multiple simultaneous screens use an MST hub such as the Club 3D CSV-7330.
Is the CSV-1009 suitable for switching a gaming PC and a console on one monitor?
For DisplayPort sources, yes – it passes high refresh rates within DP 1.4 bandwidth. Most consoles only output HDMI, however, so they would need an HDMI switch instead.
Singular Expert Insight
A neat, driver-free way to share one high-resolution DisplayPort monitor between a work laptop dock and a home PC, or to swap between two monitors from one GPU output. Because it is bidirectional, it adapts if your setup changes later. For USB-C laptops that also need keyboard and mouse switching, a USB-C KVM is the better fit.
✓ Buy it if you want to switch one DP monitor between two DP sources (or one source between two monitors) with a button.
✕ Skip it if you need keyboard/mouse switching (KVM) or simultaneous output to two screens.
→ Also consider Club 3D CSV-2512 USB-C KVM switch, or CSV-7330 DP MST hub for three simultaneous screens.
