The Conceptronic EMRICK11B adds two USB 3.0 Type-A ports to the back of a desktop PC by connecting a spare internal 19/20-pin USB 3.0 motherboard header to a standard expansion-slot bracket. It runs at USB 3.2 Gen 1 speed (5 Gbit/s) over a 50 cm cable and installs without drivers.

Compatibility note: Your motherboard needs a free internal USB 3.0 19/20-pin header (the blue, wide connector) and the case a free slot cover. It does not work with USB 2.0 9-pin headers or the newer USB-C Key-A front-panel header.

No, it uses a standard full-height slot bracket. Small-form-factor desktops need a low-profile bracket version.
Can I connect it to my front-panel USB 3.0 header if the front ports are already using it?
Each 19/20-pin header serves one cable. If your only USB 3.0 header is used by the front panel, you would need to disconnect the front ports or add a PCIe USB card instead.
