The Conceptronic DONN36B is a dual-bay docking station for 2.5″ and 3.5″ SATA hard drives and SSDs. You drop bare drives into the top slots — no trays, no tools — and they appear on your computer over USB 3.2 Gen 1 at up to 5 Gbps. Each bay takes drives up to 20 TB (40 TB total), a one-key offline clone copies one drive to the other without a computer, and SD and TF card slots plus two USB-A ports add a card reader and a small hub. Dynamic RGB lighting can be switched off. In practice it is the quick way to read old drives, back up to bare disks, test drives, or duplicate a system disk before an upgrade.
Compatibility — check before buying:
It takes SATA drives only — 2.5″ and 3.5″ HDDs and SATA SSDs. M.2 NVMe, M.2 SATA and old IDE drives do not fit. The dock connects with the included 1 m USB-C to USB-A cable; for a USB-C-only laptop you need a USB-C to USB-C cable or adapter. Cloning overwrites the target drive completely — check which bay is source and which is target in the quick guide before pressing the button. The 12 V power adapter must be connected. Send us your drive models and we check them.
