Conceptronic CUSTODIO02BWM — Keyed Laptop Lock for Wedge Slots, 1.8 m
Wedge slot2 keysMaster key compatible1.8 m steel cable
The Conceptronic CUSTODIO02BWM is a keyed laptop cable lock for devices with a Wedge security slot (3.2 × 4.5 mm). It comes with two precision-cut keys, a heavy-duty 4 mm steel cable 1.8 m long, and a lock head that rotates 360° on a pivoting cable so it does not strain the laptop or the cable. It is also master key compatible, so an IT department can open every lock in a fleet with one master key (sold separately). In practice it keeps a laptop tethered to the desk in offices, schools and shared spaces, installs in seconds without tools, and suits organisations that hand out many locks.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This lock fits the Wedge security slot (3.2 × 4.5 mm) only — the tapered slot used on many current thin business laptops. It will not fit the Standard slot (about 3 × 7 mm, often called a K-Slot) or the smaller Nano slot, and Conceptronic sells separate CUSTODIO versions for those. Check the slot on your laptop, or its manual, before ordering. You also need a fixed object to loop the 1.8 m cable around, such as a desk leg; for desks without one, the Conceptronic LBA01 desk anchor adds a tether point. Not sure which slot you have? Send us the laptop model and we check it. The master key is not included; it is available separately for organisations.

Singular Expert Insight
We recommend the CUSTODIO02BWM for companies and schools rolling out Wedge-slot laptops in numbers: keys are simpler than codes for users, and the master key option saves IT from cutting cables when keys go missing. Confirm the slot type on one laptop before ordering a batch. See our security products and docking stations, which often carry their own lock slot.
