Contour RollerMouse Pro3 — Centred Ergonomic Mouse, Wired
Patented rollerbar2400 DPI488 mm wideUSB-C wired
The Pro3 is the wide, flat member of the RollerMouse family: 488 mm across and only 26 mm tall, built to sit in front of a full-size keyboard as a permanent part of the desk. The principle is the same as the rest of the range — a patented rollerbar directly in front of the keys, pushed to move and rolled to scroll, worked by either hand, so your arm never reaches out to the side for a mouse. Inside is an optical sensor at up to 2400 DPI in 10 steps from 600 with 6 buttons carrying 7 programmable shortcuts assigned in the Contour Personalization App. Connection is wired: a USB-C plug with a USB-A adapter supplied, so nothing charges and nothing pairs. It weighs 748 g, which is deliberate — a centred device you push against needs to stay where it is put. Windows and macOS, 2-year warranty. Black.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Measure first: at 488 mm wide and 92 mm deep this is the widest device in the range, and it wants a clear strip of desk in front of the keyboard for its whole length. On a shallow desk you will end up pushing the keyboard back further than you expect — that is normal and part of the setup, but check the depth before ordering. The wrist rest is optional: Contour publishes the Pro3 with the RollerWave3 as a separate accessory rather than in the box, so if you want padded support in front of the bar, order it alongside and we will confirm the match. On resolution, the Pro3 tops out at 2400 DPI where the newer RollerMouse Pro reaches 2800 — on a single 1080p or 1440p screen that difference is invisible; across three 4K panels it is worth knowing. This is the wired model only. And the 7 shortcuts require the Contour Personalization App; the default buttons work without it. Contour publishes no cable length for this model, so we quote none.
Best For
✓ Fixed desks with room for a full-width centred device
✓ Shoulder and forearm pain from mouse use
✓ Left-handed users and anyone who alternates hands
✓ Sites standardising on one wired ergonomic device
✓ All-day pointer-heavy work
✓ Anyone who wants nothing to charge or pair
Key Features
Wide, flat and planted
488 mm across, 26 mm tall and 748 g — low enough to sit under the hands and heavy enough to stay put when you push the bar.
The patented rollerbar
Push to move, roll to scroll, either hand. The pointer stays in the centre line, which is the whole ergonomic argument for the category.
Seven shortcuts
Six buttons carrying seven programmable shortcuts per application in the Contour Personalization App, all reachable without leaving the centre.
Wired, and that is the point
A USB-C plug with a USB-A adapter. No battery, no pairing, no receiver in a port — on a permanent desk that is one less thing to manage.

Singular Expert Insight
The Pro3 is the long-service option: wired, heavy, nothing to charge, and the flattest profile in the range. If a desk is going to keep one device for five years, this is a sensible one. Just order the RollerWave3 with it if you want padding. See our keyboard accessories and our wireless mice.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You have a fixed desk, want a wide flat wired rollerbar in front of the keyboard, and nothing to charge.
Skip it if
Your desk is shallow, you need wireless, or you want a wrist rest included in the box.
Also consider
The RollerMouse Pro for a newer body with a fitted rest, or the RollerWave3 rest for this model.
