Corsair Vengeance 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 — white, AMD EXPO & Intel XMP
32GB (2 x 16GB)DDR5-6000 CL30EXPO + XMPWhite
The Corsair Vengeance CMK32GX5M2B6000Z30W is a 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR5 desktop memory kit tested at 6000MT/s with CAS latency 30 and 1.40V, in a white aluminium heat spreader. It carries both AMD EXPO and Intel XMP profiles, so one kit suits Ryzen AM5 builds and current Intel platforms.
DDR5-6000 CL30 is the most popular sweet-spot configuration for gaming and creator PCs: fast enough to matter in CPU-bound games and content work, without the stability headaches of extreme kits. The white finish is aimed at white or light-themed builds; there is no RGB lighting on this model.
Before you order: The rated 6000MT/s CL30 needs the EXPO or XMP profile enabled in the BIOS. Out of the box every DDR5 kit starts at its standard SPD setting — here 4800MHz, CL40, 1.1V.
What's in the Box
- 2 x Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR5 UDIMM modules (white heat spreaders) = 32GB kit
- No software or cables required; Corsair iCUE is optional
What It Means in Practice
- Install the two modules in the slots your motherboard manual marks for two-DIMM dual channel (usually A2 and B2), then enable EXPO (AMD) or XMP (Intel) in the BIOS.
- On first boot with a new DDR5 kit the PC can sit on a black screen for a minute or more while the board trains the memory — this is normal, do not power it off.
- 32GB is the current comfortable amount for gaming plus Discord and a browser, and for photo editing or light video work. Heavier video, VMs or large datasets point to 64GB.
- The kit is tested and rated as a pair. Adding a second kit (four modules) is not covered by the 6000MT/s rating and usually means running at lower speed.
What Will Not Work
- DDR4 motherboards — DDR5 is keyed differently and will not seat.
- Laptops and mini PCs that use SO-DIMM modules.
- Workstations or servers that require ECC or registered (RDIMM) memory.
- Running at 6000MT/s on boards or CPUs whose memory controller cannot reach it — the kit then runs at a lower speed you set manually.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I get 6000MT/s automatically?
No. Enable EXPO (AMD) or XMP (Intel) in the BIOS; without it the kit runs at the standard 4800MHz.
Is CL30 at 6000 good for Ryzen 7000/9000?
DDR5-6000 CL30 is the configuration AMD and board makers generally point to for AM5 — it is the best value point for that platform.
Can I add another 2x16GB kit later?
Physically yes, but four DDR5 modules are much harder for the memory controller; expect to lower the speed. If you think you will need 64GB, buy a 2 x 32GB kit instead.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
For a new AM5 or Intel 600/700/800 build, a 2 x 16GB DDR5-6000 CL30 kit is the default recommendation: it is the speed most platforms run reliably with a profile enabled, and two modules keep the controller happy. ✓ Buy it if you are building or upgrading a DDR5 desktop and want a fast, proven 32GB kit in white.
✕ Skip it if your board is DDR4, you need 64GB or more, or you want RGB lighting.
