120mm ARGB Case Fan · Reverse Blade

COUGAR Apolar 120 ARGB Reverse Blade Black — reversed-airflow ARGB fan with a clean front look

600–2200 RPM PWM75.38 CFM2.59 mmH₂OARGB · daisy-chain

The COUGAR Apolar 120 ARGB Reverse Blade Black is a single 120mm PWM case fan with addressable RGB lighting, reaching 2200 RPM and 75.38 CFM, with mirrored blades that reverse the airflow so the fan can be mounted as a bottom or side intake with its best side on show. Part number CF-ARB12HB-RGB uses a hydro-dynamic bearing and connects to standard 4-pin PWM and 3-pin 5V ARGB headers. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.

Compatibility note
Needs a 4-pin PWM fan header and a 3-pin 5V ARGB header (not a 4-pin 12V RGB header). Fans daisy-chain tool-free, but COUGAR recommends no more than three fans per chain due to power limits. The frame is 28 mm thick — check radiator and case clearance. Reverse Blade model: air flows in the opposite direction to a standard Apolar 120 when mounted the same way.
Best For
✓ Bottom intake in panoramic cases
✓ Side-mounted intake fans
✓ Showcase builds with visible fans
✓ ARGB gaming PCs
✓ 120mm radiators
✓ Mixed standard/reverse setups

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the COUGAR Apolar 120 ARGB Reverse Blade work with ASUS Aura, MSI Mystic Light or Gigabyte RGB Fusion?
Yes. It uses a standard 3-pin 5V ARGB connection, so it syncs with motherboard software that supports addressable headers. It is not compatible with 4-pin 12V RGB headers.
How many Apolar 120 ARGB fans can I daisy-chain?
COUGAR recommends a maximum of three fans per chain because of power limits on motherboard headers.
What's the difference between the Apolar 120 ARGB and the Reverse Blade version?
Specifications are identical (2200 RPM, 75.38 CFM, 2.59 mmH₂O); the Reverse Blade has mirrored blades that reverse the airflow for bottom or side intakes with the clean side on show.
Singular Expert Insight
Pair the Reverse Blade with standard Apolar 120 ARGB fans in panoramic cases so every visible fan looks the same while airflow still goes the right way. Need several? The 3-pack versions are better value. See more in our case fans range.

Buyer's Guide

Buy it if
You need a black ARGB fan with reversed airflow for a bottom or side intake.
Skip it if
You prefer silence over airflow — at 37.1 dB(A) max it is not the quietest 120mm fan.
Also consider
COUGAR Apolar 120 ARGB (standard airflow), or the Apolar 120 ARGB 3-packs for full builds.
