The Cougar GR 850 is an 850W ATX 3.1 fully modular power supply for modern gaming PCs that pair a strong CPU with a current graphics card. It uses a native PCIe 12V-2x6 connector to power a next-gen GPU through a single 12+4-pin cable, with no 6+2 pin adaptor required, and is 80 Plus Gold certified for up to 91% efficiency. Listed under part number CGR GDN-850, the 850W model also earns a Cybenetics Platinum efficiency rating and a compact 140mm body. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Good to know before you buy

Singular Expert Insight
The GR 850 is Cougar's value entry into native 12V-2x6 ATX 3.1 power, and the 850W model punches above its price with a Cybenetics Platinum efficiency rating. If you want a larger HDB fan and tighter regulation, the Cougar GLE 850 is a small step up; for very high-end multi-component systems, move to a 1000W+ unit. Pair it with a current graphics card and compare the rest of our PC power supplies.
Buyer's Guide
Buy it if
You want an affordable 850W ATX 3.1 unit with a native 12V-2x6 cable, Gold (Cybenetics Platinum) efficiency and a compact, easy-to-fit body.
Skip it if
Your build draws over 850W, or you want a larger HDB fan and tighter 2% regulation — step up to the GLE or a 1000W+ unit.
Also consider
The Cougar GLE 850 for a 135mm HDB fan and 100% Japanese caps, or a 1000W model for higher-power or future GPU upgrades.
